For potatoes, beets, carrots
(1 ton/hr, 2 ton/hr, 3 ton/hr, 4 ton/hr, 5 ton/hr and more)
Operation principle
Potatoes enter the rocks separator, where an upward flow of water (the water head is regulated), which keeps the potatoes afloat and moves it into the drum, is fed through the pump and rocks with a density greater than that of the potatoes, fall to the bottom of the rocks separator and are removed at the end of the shift through the manhole. At the request of the customer, the machine can be equipped with a conveyor for removing rocks (no more than 10 kg of rocks accumulate per shift). The washing chamber is a washing bath formed by the walls of the casing and the bottom. The casing is equipped with hinged covers for inspection and sanitation, an overflow pipe to maintain the water level in the bath, drainage devices, a pocket with filtering screens, to feed the recycled water to the pumping unit. The loading tray of the rock collector is installed in the front part, there is a discharge tray on which the drum drive is mounted in the rear part. Potatoes are fed into the washing drum. During the rotation of the drum, the potato tubers are washed off the adhering earth, due to friction each against other and against the rods of the drum, and are transferred to the discharge drum by the vanes, where they are water sprayed and unloaded on the discharge tray.
